The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center’s Lucas Mansion Gallery will feature exhibits by Kimberly Croteau, “A Beautiful World Through my Lens,” and James Drum. The Lucas Mansion Gallery is located at 316 Hiddenite Church Road in Alexander County and is open to the public Monday – Friday from 10am – 4:30pm and on Saturday from 10am – 3pm. All gallery exhibits are free and self guided.

The Center will host a Meet the Artist Reception with Kimberly Croteau this Saturday, August 11th, from 1:00pm until 2:30pm in the Lucas Mansion Gallery. The event is free for all to attend and enjoy.

For the last thirteen years, Kimberly Croteau has been an artist and art teacher. Starting this fall, she will begin a new teaching job at Newton-Conover Middle School. Croteau says she believes, “in being an artist who actively creates and inspires my students.”

As an artist, Croteau has taken professional watercolor classes and had exhibits through Nancy Couick Studios in Charlotte NC and at Binders in Charlotte.

Kimberly Croteau enjoys painting in watercolor and oil, drawing in pencil, colored pencil, and chalk pastels, digital Photography, and wood burning.
