The Valdese Farmers Market will open on May 24th on the Old Rock School front lawn. Vendors will set up and be ready to sell at 11am and will stay open until 4pm on Fridays.

“We are looking forward to the upcoming season, shared Morrissa Angi Community Affairs Director for the Town of Valdese. “We encourage everyone to support our local farmers and eat healthy.”

Farmers are invited to setup their produce underneath the large tree on the front lawn beginning at 10:30am on Market Fridays. Farmers that are interested in participating can download the vendor application at valdesemarket.com.

The Valdese Farmers Market offers locally grown, harvested fresh produce along with fresh baked local goods. The market will run May 24th until September. Shoppers are encouraged to look for the wooden fruits and veggies signs along Main Street to lead them to the market location. “Come out for fresh fruits, veggies, baked goods and unique crafts!” states Angi.
