Just clarifying he is a Wilkes resident, ANTI' post plainly says "Wilkes but actually Elkin" He is a most definitely a Wilkes County Resident and has been WELL involved in Wilkes County Sports, especially East Wilkes. However owning the type of business he does (IN ELKIN city limits) he does have several ties in elkin and surrounding areas. But what business doesnt?

Settle is Elkin, says so on almost ALL of his campaigns. He also goes to more Elkin functions than Wilkesboro. His business is also located in Elkin (Surry side). There is also a part of Elkin in Wilkes County.
Which Elkin (Surry) he would also represent if elected to NC Senate, so it's really a non-issue.
