Do you love fresh fruits and vegetables, local honey, and homemade baked goods? Of course you do! Make plans to visit the Alexander County Farmers� Market! The market will run every Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon through September 12th in the old hospital parking lot.

As a buyer, you�re sure to get the freshest, tastiest produce around. So, come out to the Alexander County Farmers� Market on Saturdays, and support your LOCAL farmers!

If you are a seller who wishes to participate, applications will be available at the market or at the Alexander County Cooperative Extension Office. The fee to sell is only $3 a week for one space, or $20 for a season pass. Sellers must reside and produce items they sell locally or in the Alexander County region of western North Carolina, and must be the original producers of the items being sold. Also, a Growers Certificate signed by the County Extension Agent will be required to sell at the Farmers� Market.
