On Thursday, December 4, 2014, The Hiddenite Center will host their annual Christmas at the Lucas Mansion Friends Open House. Hiddenite Center members, known as �Friends of the Hiddenite Center,� will gather from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm for a special evening that includes guided tours of the Center�s museum and holiday decorations, festive live music, heavy hors d� oeuvres and community fellowship.

Admission to the Christmas at the Lucas Mansion Friends Open House, which includes a one-year Hiddenite Center membership, is affordably priced at $25 for an individual or $40 for a family.

The Lucas Mansion gift shop will offer holiday shopping for handcrafted, unique, and one-of-a-kind artistic gifts. Gift shop sales will benefit local artists, crafters, and The Hiddenite Center.

Following the Friends Open House, The Hiddenite Center�s �Christmas Reel to Real� decorations and exhibits will be open to the public beginning Friday, December 5th. The Lucas Mansion�s regular hours of operation are Monday � Friday 10:00 am until 4:30 pm and Saturday 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. The Hiddenite Center�s Lucas Mansion will be closed in observance of the holidays December 24 � December 28, 2014 and January 1, 2015.
