On Tuesday, August 25th, the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center will host a Port-a-Pit chicken fundraiser with all proceeds supporting the Center�s ongoing arts programming.

Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center Port-a-Pit tickets are on sale now for $8.00 per plate, which includes � chicken breast, baked beans, coleslaw, and dessert. A beverage will be available for additional purchase at both locations.

Meals will be available for sale and pick up on Tuesday, August 25th from 11:00am until 3:00pm with two locations: the lawn of the Alexander County Courthouse in Taylorsville and at the Center�s Educational Complex (70 Hiddenite Church Road in Hiddenite).

The Courthouse lawn will offer pick up only and the Educational Complex will be available for dine in or pick up. Free delivery will be provided for orders of 10 plates or more within a 10-mile radius of either pick up location.

The fundraiser will feature chicken prepared by the original, Port-a-Pit of Statesville, which is ranked among the �100 Foods You Must Eat in 100 Counties� according to Our State magazine.
