During the months of August and September, the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center�s Lucas Mansion Gallery will feature an exciting new exhibit by Uni4Artists as they explore the Center�s Celebration of the Arts theme, �Will the Circle be Unbroken.�
A Meet the Artists Reception will be held in the Lucas Mansion Gallery on Saturday, August 8th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. Light refreshments will be served and artists will available to discuss their work. Located at 316 Hiddenite Church Road in Alexander County, the reception is free and open to the public. Many of the exhibited works will be available for sale.
With membership meetings based in Hickory, the Uni4Artists work to encourage and promote visual artists of the Unifour area and enhance the quality of life for everybody in the community through the arts.
Using many diverse mediums that include oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, collage, and sculpture, Uni4Artists bring unique points of view to the common theme, �Will the Circle be Unbroken.� Each artist was asked to submit at least one piece inspired by the theme as well as additional pieces based on subjects of their own choosing.
Exhibiting Uni4Artists are Robert Dennis, Pat Flachbart, Anne Fredley, Harold Humphrey, Jan Jackson, Meredith Janssen, Margery Johnson, Araine Koser, Karin Koval, Molly LaFontaine, Katherine Lee, Martha Mauney, Beth Oczkowski , Judy W. Rider, Teena Stewart, Priscilla Wallace, Collette Wronek, Kathi Yarnall, and Susan Yount.
All Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center gallery exhibits are free and open to the public Monday - Friday from 10:00am until 4:30pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until 3:00pm. The Uni4Artists exhibit will remain on display August 3 � September 30, 2015,
