The autumn harvest brings with it the return of The Hiddenite Centers popular Soup N Salad Fall Luncheon.
General admission to the Soup N Salad Fall Luncheon is affordably priced at $7 per person, which includes a delicious buffet of hot soups, a tossed salad, dessert, and a beverage.
In addition to general admission, this years luncheon features the option of purchasing handcrafted soup bowls from renowned potter, Jim Brown. The Brown family has been making pottery in North Carolina since the 1700s. Jim Brown continues this tradition in his new pottery studio, located in the Hiddenite community of Alexander County. Luncheon admission that includes the buffet along with a specially made, take home bowl is priced at $10 per person. Carry orders are available upon request.
The Center is seeking volunteers to contribute homemade soups and desserts for the luncheon. Interested participants may call (828) 632-6966 to volunteer.
The Hiddenite Center would welcome donations for the luncheon and volunteers to help with the event. For more information or to donate / volunteer, call (828) 632-6966 , email [email protected] or visit http://www.hiddenitecenter.com
