On Friday, August 19th the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center�s annual Summer on the Square free concert series will wrap up the 2016 season with an outstanding finale performance from Tin Can Alley. Comprised of Mel Jones on percussion and harmonica, Don Story on guitar, and Calvin Johnson on Bass, this popular ensemble will treat audiences to classic soul and R&B music from the 1960�s.

The concert begins at 7:00pm and is held on the Alexander County Courthouse lawn in Taylorsville (29 W Main Avenue). In case of rain, Summer on the Square will be moved to the Center�s Educational Complex (70 Hiddenite Church Road). Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for their convenience. Summer on the Square is made possible through the Center�s partnership with the Town of Taylorsville and Alexander County Government.

Concessions will be available for sale from the 957 Mobile Cafe.
